1. Record keeping.

When you get a call from a first time customer, take down their name, phone number, e-mail address, snail mail address, birthday..... anything else you need.

2. Constant contact.

Contact customer regularly.  Those that have email can receive update emails every week or so, pointing out specials, reminding them of my next order date, asking for their preferences.

3. Put your customers to work.

Ask customers if they know someone who needs or uses AVON.  Give a discount for each customer referral.

4. Get your brochures out there.

Roll and toss at least 50 or more brochures each campaign. If you can't meet with a customer over the course of a campaign make sure you mail or deliver a brochure. Ask everyone you come in contact with if they have an AVON Representative. Always have books on hand.

5. Call backs.

Most people will buy something when you call. Or if someone calls you remind them of whatever item is on sale.

6. Chart your success.

You can get a large calendar and place it on your desk or hang it on the wall of your office and at the end of every day write your total sales or new customers for that day on the calendar.
